Peak bloom dates for D.C.’s famed blossoms were announced Wednesday as March 14 through March 17. As a result, planners say the start of the 2017 Cherry Blossom Festival was bumped up slightly to March 15 to coincide with peak bloom, although none of the key events’ dates will chance. The fest will officially run through April 16.
