  • Kyle Eaton

    Chief Operating Officer

    Kyle Eaton joined UIP in 2022 as the firms first ever Chief Operating Officer. UIP Mr. Eaton’s background includes experience in the C suite and other senior executive positions in national private equity firms. Mr. Eaton has lead large multifamily and commercial development, operations, asset management and general contracting teams in over 20 different markets throughout the US. Throughout his career Mr. Eaton has transacted joint ventures in excess of $2 Billion dollars.  Mr. Eaton has engaged in many JVs and partnerships with private equity firms and  institutional capital partners such as Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Wells Fargo, Airbnb, Brookfield, The Royal Family of Kuwait, Ohio State Pension Fund and many more. Mr. Eaton leads all team members and operation activities for UIP.

  • Kai Dana Pantin

    Vice President, Human Resources

    Kai Dana Pantin joined UIP in late 2021 as the Vice President of Human Resources. In this role, Kai oversees all internal talent, human resources, and people functions, and leads processes and structures that ensures that UIP has the leadership, recruitment and talent development practices, and culture in place to continue its growth. Prior to joining UIP, Kai held the position of HR Director at Zonda (formerly Hanley Wood), a data intelligence, software, and media company focused on the residential housing industry, where she led a variety of key initiatives around talent acquisition, onboarding, training and development, performance management, and employee engagement. She was also the Director of People & Operations at Indiggo, a thriving startup focused on leadership through an AI-based platform, and a Senior Manager, HR Programs at Avalere Health, a leading healthcare policy consulting firm.

    Kai earned her Master’s in Clinical Community Counseling from Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Bachelor’s in Communications from the University of Maryland at College Park. She is passionate about continuing her education to stay ahead of the emerging trends the constant changes in the HR landscape.

  • Duane Wooldridge

    Vice President, Property Management

    Duane Wooldridge joins UIP with over 25 years of experience in the Multi-family industry. Having started his career as a Leasing Consultant on-site, Duane has continued to grow and develop his leadership with ever-increasing responsibility. His first Regional role was with Archstone-Smith in the early 2000’s. He then worked for JBG-Smith for a decade, leaving that firm as a Vice-president in 2018 to assume the role of President of Property Management at Middleburg Communities. After 5 years there, Duane is excited to now join UIP to lead our Property Management group. Duane has managed properties of all sizes, classes, and building-type across a broad spectrum of rent levels – mostly in the greater DC market, but also extending throughout the Southeast. He has been involved with the successful lease-up of at least 25 properties, as well as major renovations and stabilized assets.

    Duane is a graduate of the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA. In his spare time, he enjoys travel, live music, and spending time in the mountains of West Virginia.

  • Deeqa Nur

    Regional Director

    Deeqa Nur joins UIP with over 28yrs of experience in the Washington D.C, Maryland, Northern Virginia, and Richmond markets. Ms. Nur has extensive experience in assisting clients with virtually any aspect of owning and operating multifamily and multi-use properties. She has overseen several renovation projects, new acquisitions, lease ups, and been vital to many due diligence teams.  Prior to UIP, Ms. Nur worked with the Archstone-Smith, Gates Hudson and JBG SMITH. More recently she worked as a General Manager for JBG SMITH in National Landing where she managed 1677 units and worked on future development plans for the community. She also served as a Senior Regional Manager for Gates Hudson, a firm that assists clients with the objective of acquiring and developing real estate. Ms. Nur is a University of Richmond advisory committee member where her areas of expertise are Internal and external customer-first experience management and navigating change in multi-cultural environments. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Communications.

  • Jamal Gunter

    Regional Service Manager

    Jamal joined UIP in 2021 as Regional Service Manager with UIP Properties Management. Prior to joining UIP, Jamal held the position of Chief Engineer for Polinger Company and held positions of like capacity with several other companies. Jamal has nearly 20 years of experience in the maintenance and services industry. He is a licensed class 3 steam engineer and currently pursuing 1st class licensure for stationary and high-pressure steam applications.
