As a bill that would make go-go the official music of D.C. awaits a mayoral signature, the Kennedy Center will launch its “Go-Go 101” series at the Millennium Stage this Friday. Every month, the city’s hub for performing arts will feature different voices in go-go with educational discussions on the evolution of the genre.
