Before that, he managed day-to-day operations for two of the Washington areaâ€™s leading real estate development/management firms, Gates-Hudson and Horning Brothers. He also has served as a regional manager at The Shelter Group, with responsibility for a large multi-state portfolio. Matt began his career at Gannon Management, after graduating from the University of Maryland College Parkâ€™s Smith School of Business. Matt is also a certified Yardi Developer and Trainer.

Lissette joined UIP in July of 2011 as a Property Manager, bringing over thirteen years of experience from past positions in property management and marketing. She currently manages several properties in the Columbia Heights area. She excels at prioritizing in a fast-paced working environment, resident retention, and interpersonal communication, and is well-versed in many facets of property management, including supervising, marketing, rent collection, increasing sales, and lowering delinquency. Lissette also is bilingual in English and Spanish. Before joining UIP, Lissette was a Property Manager at MPM Management, Inc., in Washington, DC for eight years, where she managed six properties. She holds a Real Estate Management certificate and is a Certified Lead Inspector.

Katrina has over nine years of experience in management for leasing, marketing, operations, and property in four different property management companies in Maryland and Virginia. Before joining UIP in 2012, Katrina worked as Property Manager for Riverstone at Owings Mills in Maryland for four years, where she managed a 324-unit Class A property. She is customer service and sales-oriented, and has demonstrated high motivation and success in achieving set goals. Katrina was a 2010 Rookie Property Manager of the Year Nominee, and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice and Behavior Science at University of Maryland University College.

TaSheba joined UIP in 2012 as a Maintenance Manager with seven years of experience in the property management industry. Prior to becoming part of the UIP family, TaSheba has worked as a leasing agent with home properties, as a sales and service associate at Bozzuto in Laurel, MD, and an assistant manager for Dreyfus Management in Silver Spring, MD. She went to Xavier University in New Orleans, LA, and Montgomery College in Maryland where she studied business management and administration.

Indira had over ten years of experience in administrative assistance before taking charge of this position at UIP. Previously she worked at H Martinez Construction, working up from receptionist to administrative assistant, so she is no stranger to the world of property management. She has excellent communication skills and is bilingual (habla espaÃ±ol), thriving in fast-paced situations that capitalize on her multitasking skills.
