Ashleigh oversees UIPPMâ€™s Washington DC assets, working with Property and Community Managers and their reports to ensure Resident satisfaction by communicating UIPâ€™s strategy and Mission, and by cultivating investor, resident, and employee relationships. Ashleigh is highly-skilled at leading and developing strong teams that provide exceptional services to our residents and provide the best living experiences possible. Before joining UIPPM, Ashleigh worked for several real estate investment trusts, as well as Waterton Residential and RAM Partners. She is a certified Apartment Manager, Occupancy Specialist, Apartment Portfolio Supervisor, and is currently working towards a Certified Property Manager designation.

Lissette joined UIP in July of 2011 as a Property Manager, bringing over thirteen years of experience from past positions in property management and marketing. She currently manages several properties in the Columbia Heights area. She excels at prioritizing in a fast-paced working environment, resident retention, and interpersonal communication, and is well-versed in many facets of property management, including supervising, marketing, rent collection, increasing sales, and lowering delinquency. Lissette also is bilingual in English and Spanish. Before joining UIP, Lissette was a Property Manager at MPM Management, Inc., in Washington, DC for eight years, where she managed six properties. She holds a Real Estate Management certificate and is a Certified Lead Inspector.

Matt manages three of UIPPMs residential communities, including five retail spaces. His main focus is ensuring resident satisfaction, and dealing with day-to-day issues that arise. Matt brings more than eight years of property management experience and a high level of customer service to UIPPM. Before joining UIPPM, he worked as a property manager for Borger Management. He has also served in Area Coordinator and Complex Director roles at Villanova University and Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. Matt earned his Bachelor of Arts in Communication, specializing in Public Relations and Leadership Studies. He is currently working towards IREMâ€™s Accredited Residential Manager certification, and will then start work towards achieving IREMâ€™s Certified Property Management designation.

Scott manages the residential Embassy Tower Apartments, Tilden Hall Apartments, and the retail Brookland Shopping Center. Prior to joining UIP, Scott was a facility manager for SP Plus, where he was responsible for four high traffic parking garages. Scott is a highly adaptable team player who is skilled at handling multiple projects. Scott is a graduate of Syracuse University where he focused on consumer studies. He is in the process of obtaining his Masters degree in Facility & Event Management from Western Kentucky University.

Ari oversees leasing activities and leasing compliance for UIPPM, assuring that leases and lease files are complete, working with and training property management and staff. Ari provides support to leasing staff and is in charge of leasing activity reporting and overall unit status. Ari provides support to other PM operations, as well as rent control compliance. Prior to joining UIP, Ari is UIPâ€™s corporate expert on leasing, management operations, and rent control. Prior to joining UIP, Ari worked on Capitol Hill for many years as an aide to multiple Members of Congress.
With his significant knowledge of property management and leasing, he is an invaluable resource for our operational managers. Ari has a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics from Hofstra University.

Carla came to UIP in 2011 with over 20 years of administrative and accounting experience in the property management profession. Prior to, she worked up from Sr. Property Accountant to Utility Specialist at Realty Management Services, Inc. in Bethesda, MD. Experienced, extremely organized and detail-oriented, Carla brings efficiency and effectiveness to the position and to UIP.

Indira had over ten years of experience in administrative assistance before taking charge of this position at UIP. Previously she worked at H Martinez Construction, working up from receptionist to administrative assistant, so she is no stranger to the world of property management. She has excellent communication skills and is bilingual (habla espaĂ±ol), thriving in fast-paced situations that capitalize on her multitasking skills.
